What we collect
- Hail Check addresses. We send the address you type to the US Census Bureau geocoder and to Photon, an OpenStreetMap address search run by Komoot, to find its location and suggest matches, then compare it to public storm reports. We do not store it unless you request an inspection.
- Device location. If you tap Use my location, your browser shares your location with us for that one check. We do not store it.
- Inspection requests. Your name, mobile number, address, email if you give it, and any notes.
- Chat messages. What you type to our chat assistant is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to write a reply. If you request an inspection in the chat, we keep a copy of the conversation with your request. Otherwise we do not store it.
- Hail alert signups. Your ZIP code and mobile number.
- Consent records. The consent wording you agreed to, the time, your IP address and browser type.
- Basic site data. Pages visited and campaign tags in links, used to see which pages help people.
How we use and share it
- We send inspection requests to AAA Property Restoration LLC so they can contact you and schedule your inspection.
- We use service providers to run the site, answer chat messages, and deliver email and texts. They may use the information only to provide those services.
- We do not sell your information.
Texts and calls
We and AAA Property Restoration LLC call or text only with your consent, between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Central. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
How long we keep it
We keep inspection requests and consent records as long as needed to serve you and to show that we had consent, generally no longer than five years.
